Background
Jim came to Boston from Canada in the early 1980’s to attend college. Like so many before him he loved the city and stayed in Boston. After working for several national mortgage companies, Jim realized these large scales created file numbers out of clients and prevented good people from obtaining financing. With a better home financing experience in mind, Jim founded Maritime Mortgage in 1989 and has delivered efficient yet personalized service to his clients ever since.

I honestly didn't know where to start when we purchased our first home. I went with Maritime because it was clear they valued relationships and people, and having trust in your purchasing team is invaluable. Their rates were more than competitive which was the cherry on top, but i'll be forever grateful for the way they held my hand and walked/educated me through the process. We used them again to refi twice; I wont ever go anywhere else.
